Engineers are responsible for installing, maintaining and supporting computer networks within anorganization. The goal is to ensure the smooth operation of networks in order to provide maximum
performance and availability for clients. Understanding the issues involved with administering and maintaining corporate infrastructure, including network connectivity, Internet access, email, etc is a keygoal for all Engineers.
Our technicians have to be personable and caring individuals. They must maintain a sense of urgency,
and yet convey confidence to the customer allowing them to know the situation is a top priority. Engineers must show the client that the issue is not being rushed and that no detail will be overlooked. Customer approval is a top measurement of how an engineer performs their job.
Our engineers strive towards taking the role of trusted advisor and technical consultant. Engineers must be capable of supporting, or obtaining support for many various issues. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include the following:
--Ensure delivery and set up of all computer equipment at client locations.
--Help answer all trouble calls/emails and work on service requests in a timely manner.
--Assist in the administration and maintenance of software programs as well as operating systems
used.
--Interact with clients to resolve basic and complex ticket issues; communicate with clients in a professional manner maintaining confidentiality.
--Assist with the inventory management of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT
supplies. Assist with the purchase of software, hardware and other IT supplies.
--Promote responsible usage and cost management for clients.
--Accurately prepare written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective and professional.
--Display a positive attitude and demonstrate flexibility in day-to-day work.
--Set high standards of performance for oneself and strive to improve performance.
--Establish effective working relationships with clients.
--Understand the professional development process and become actively involved by setting
challenging goals and meeting them through continuous learning.
--Accurately complete and submit time, expense, and status reports in a timely manner.
--Comply with all policies and procedures.
Qualifications--Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

--Associates Degree in an IT related field or two years equivalent work experience
--MCSE REQUIRED
--Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and respond with sense of urgency
--Ability to document and evolve processes and procedures
--Self-motivated and responsive to management and customers
--Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
--Technical knowledge an understanding of computer hardware and software
