The Business Development Manager will have high energy, good presentation skills, and is highly organized. Need to be able to develop their own leads, although they do use Connectwise for their internal database and CRM. This person has to be able to manage themself and be self-motivated. The Business Development Manager will be meeting with 10 clients a week and billing 2 new projects a week. This person will be focused on selling locally - it is important that the right candidate have a book of business to build off of already. Client is also willing to look at some less tenured candidates that "have selling in their blood", but may not have produced as much at this point in their career. It is important that this person really focus on "building relationships" with clients. Our client stands apart from their competitors because they are client-centric and have on-going training on how they can interact better with their clients. They like to offer things to their clients that other companies may not - they will creatively find out how to offer any solution that their clients need.
