Our Nationwide Healthcare client is seeking a BC/BE physician with urgent care experience for an opening in Amarillo, Texas.
The position is in a clinic based setting that provides occupational medicine and urgent care services.
As Center Medical Director, you will provide outpatient occupational and urgent care medicine, which typically consists of:
Orthopedics injuries
Lacerations
Corneal abrasions or foreign bodies
Non-injury services
Pre-placement physical exams
Regulated physical exams for OSHA, DOT, FAA, etc.
Drug and audiometric screens
Other responsibilities include:
Interfacing with client companies about occupational health
Identifying health risks in workplaces
Determining the work-relatedness of disorders
Consulting with patients’ companies on safety occupational health issues and disability prevention
Serving as a resource to physicians in other specialties
