Telco Solutions Senior Manager
Job Description:
Responsible for leading the global Telco market for Harmonic. This position will be chartered with developing Harmonic Telco solution in different markets : IPTV, Internet TV and mobile Video; defining and maintaining market requirements; provide inputs to product requirements; definition of new solutions that can address operator’s issues, definition of solution kits to be demonstrated at customers, trade shows and partners; key customer and partner identification/development; business modeling; product/technology positioning; pricing definition for various Telco Solutions ; TAM forecasting; market research; evaluating new opportunities in emerging markets.
This job requires close relationship with Product Managers who are in charge of each products part of Harmonic Telco Solution, with the System Engineering and Advanced Development teams , as well as the sales organization across the different regions.
• Responsible for Harmonic’s global solution & strategy for Telco market
• Work with Product managers to develop, support and communicate effective product plans.
• Work with the Convergence Solution Manager to ensure solution alignment for Telco market
• Work closely with Sales Organization to engage and manage Strategic and Key accounts from a pre sales perspective
• Evaluate technology opportunities across the entire Telco eco system especially in domains not covered by Harmonic.
Required Job Skills:
• Ideal candidate will have comprehensive understanding of IP Video delivery across multiple networks.
• Solid understanding of eco systems for IPTV, Mobile TV and Internet TV.
• Solid product management knowledge
• Track record of managing revenues
• Ability to develop, organize and maintain relationship with partners
• Strong oral, written, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with diverse employee population.
• Domestic and International travel will be required
Required Experience:
5 years minimum in a marketing role
Solution / Product Management in IPTV eco system
Education:
B.A. or B.S. degree in Engineering, Technical or Related Fields. MBA preferred.
