Senior Software Engineer

Job Description:
The Senior Software Engineer will be an integral part of the entire Senior Engineering team. The daily activities will include architecting / developing features and solutions that are related to the entire product suite including the inter-communication systems between distributed systems. The features will range from implementing various aspects of muxing/demuxing, codecs, and base-line image and sound transformations, to application layer GUI’s and system development, and even to components of the installer and configuration systems for the product suite.
Added responsibilities will include development and support for the entire product suite’s components, and maintenance of existing and future products.
Long term goals will include planning, architecting, and providing solutions for future products and features related to communication, data transfer, and multi-media solutions emphasizing quality and distributed computation.

• Digital Media development
• Digital Media encoding / delivery / streaming
• Transport Stream muxing/demuxing
• Digital Media File Formats
• MPEG 1/2/4, h.264 codec
• Highly multi-threaded development
• TCP/UDP Socket Application Development
• Client/Server distributed application development
• Distributed Network system architecture
• SAS (Software as a Service)Development
• GUI development using Win32/MFC/.Net/WPF
• Developing and deploying NT-Services
• Creating installers for applications and services

Education:

field.
