Account Manager Roles & Responsibilities

Individual contributor position reporting to Vice President level.
Manage a portfolio of key (existing) accounts and drive account level strategy and execution in order to meet/exceed revenue goals
Complete ownership for account(s) revenue targets and co-ownership of customer satisfaction along with delivery management team
Effective execution of fundamental Account Management principles including developing go-to-market account strategy, comprehensive account plans and building relationships with key stakeholders in order to identify and drive up/cross sell opportunities within assigned accounts
Support corporate initiatives and marketing programs to maximize relationship value

Essential Skills & Experience

Self-motivated leaders with 5 + years of sales and/or account management experience in the field of software/ consulting / IT services / Outsourcing
Individual should have carried a target (individual or group quota) and demonstrated success in appropriately scaling account relationship(s)
Preference is for an individual who has a track record engaging with Enterprise accounts but experience with ISVs is also acceptable
Suitable candidates may have had an IT strategy/project/program management background and successfully transitioned to an individual contributor role in Sales/Business Development and/or Account Management.
Industry experience in bfsi, Manufacturing, Retail & Distribution, Media, Healthcare or Life Sciences is a plus
Strong soft skills i.e. passion, energy, initiative, detail orientation, negotiation, presentation and communication.

Desirable Skills & Experience

Project/relationship management background in IT. Strong soft skills i.e. energy, initiative, negotiation, communication and detail orientation. Strong BFSI exposure in technology or function.

Education & Qualification

Bachelor's / Master degree in Business Management, Computer Science or related Field
