Our client, a 2009 Best Places to Work winner, currently has a requirement for a team-oriented Senior Database Developer. This position requires at least 6 years of overall database experience (primarily in SQL Server) with responsibilities for database administration and expert level development. A deep understanding of the following is required: T-SQL, advanced stored procedure development, cursors, server side and client side SQL XML processing, DTS or SQL 2K5 integration services, basic understanding of OLAP architecture, excellent database organization and troubleshooting skills, and a 4-year college degree in a related field.

Duties: Primary responsibilities include: SQL Server installation, configuration, maintenance, tuning, backup and recovery, data migration; database modeling and documentation including: ERD's and DFD's; development of T-SQL and DDL to support project requirements; development of stored procedures and Integration Services workflows to load, validate, and transform data from various, disparate, data sources; provide SQLmail alert notification to team members when data load issues are detected; implement appropriate data segregation by database user or role; protect privileged data via encryption and ensure HIPAA regulatory compliance; coordinate with developers for database updates.

Must be a US Citizen and must be willing to relocate to Honolulu (Relocation fully paid). This is a direct hire position.
